A local historic landmark will honor a $500 dollar scholarship and celebrate its nearly decade anniversary of new ownership with a commemoration of female Augustan artists over a 100-year plus timeline to present. The Olde Town Peach Gala debuts at The Olde Towne Inn & Fox’s Lair venue hosted by Melinda Swift, Co-Owner, and Operator, on July’s first Friday. The Gala Producers will invite regional Art Buyers for a buy-in tour and experience themed in the late Victorian 1870s when the location was built.
 

Over 13 local female artists have been selected to display and sell for the showcase portion of the gala. Additionally, Davidson Fine Arts Dept. welcomes three young women who’ve submitted a singular piece of visual art to bid at the gala. One of the three juried student submissions will be awarded a scholarship.
